Create an Event - PhotoBooth GIF Mode

Step 1: Mode Settings

Select “Multifunctional Mode”. After making your selection, check the “Photo and GIF” section from the options below.

Step 2: Camera Type Settings

In the “Camera Settings” section, select the camera type you want to use from the “Select Camera Type” box. When you connect your camera to your computer, it will appear in the “Select Camera” box. (If it does not appear, check that your camera is on and connected to your computer and try again.) After selecting your camera, you can adjust it according to your horizontal or vertical use from the “Camera Rotation” section.

Step 3: Camera Settings

Countdown Seconds” in “Camera Settings” shows the time it takes for you to see yourself on the screen and adjust your pose after you give the take photo command. In short, you can set your photo timer from this section.

You can set the video length of your GIF in the “Gif Repeat Count” section, and you can determine your frame rate in the “Gif Frame Rate” section.

Step 4: Template

The “Template Settings” section is the interface we use to adjust the number, size and position of the photos we take, and to add digital frames and stickers.

In the “Output Size” section, you can determine the dimensions of our photo. If you are going to print from a printer, we recommend that you enter the dimensions of your printing paper as 6x4 or 6x8. If you are going to do only digital work, you can also consider the other options of 1280x1280, 1080x1920 or 1280x720.

When you want a gif, you need to take more than one photo. Therefore, click the “Add Photo” section to add a photo.

If you noticed the “Template Layers” section, there is another visual. Add as many photos as you will take.

For example, let's say you are going to take 4 square photos. After adding 4 square photos to the Template Layers section, click on each of the "Captured Photo"s once and scale them from the "Image Properties" section. (If you are going to add a frame, scale your image based on the frame dimensions so that the frame does not cover it.)

Let’s say we’re going to take 4 square photos. After adding 4 square photos to the “Template Layers” section, click once on each “Captured Photo” and scale it using the “Image Properties” section. (If you’re going to add a frame, scale your image based on the frame dimensions to ensure the frame doesn’t cover your image.)

After the scaling process is completed, number the numbers on our images by pressing the + button as 1,2,3,4. Having the same number in the frames means that they show the same image in those frames. Therefore, numbering is important.

To add digital frames and stickers to your photos, press the “Add Image” button above.

In this section, select the horizontal or vertical frame you want to use and press the "open" button.

If the frame you added is the same as your “Output Size” dimensions, it will fit automatically. If it is of different dimensions, click on your frame once from the “Template Layers” section. Enter the “Output Size” dimensions in the “Image Properties” section and make sure that your frame fits the image perfectly.

Step 5: Template Video

The “Template Video Settings” section is the interface used to add digital frames and stickers, where the dimensions and positions of the Gif can be adjusted. The part you need to pay attention to is that the “Output Size” measurement in the “Template Settings” section must be the same as the “Output Size” measurement in the “Template Video Settings”. Otherwise, it will cut off the images while creating your Gif.

If you want to add a frame to your Gif after making the “Output Size” measurements the same, press the “Add Image” section.

In this section, select the horizontal or vertical frame you want to use and click “open.”

After adding your frame, if it doesn’t fit properly, click once on the frame in the “Template Layers” section. Enter the “Output Size” dimensions in the “Image Properties” section and make sure the frame fits perfectly on the image.

Once you’ve completed all these steps, press the “Start the Apps” button.

Step 6: Start the Apps

When you enter the “Start the Apps” section, this screen will greet you. Click once on the “Photo” icon.

After the photo shoot, your image arrived with the frame you added.

You can open the GIF page by pressing the “Arrow” icon on our image.

You can receive it by Print, E-Mail, SMS or scanning the QR code in the section on the right. You do not need to scan the e-mail or QR code separately for the photo or GIF.

Press the “DONE” icon to return to the shooting screen.

When you click on the “Gallery” icon, you will access the images you have previously taken.

To go back to the “Settings Menu”, simply click on the “F11” key, or for touchscreen users, click on the top right corner 5 times in a row.
