Create an Event : Self Service Mode

Step by step tutorial for using Self Service Mode

Updated over a week ago

After creating an event, select the “Singlefunctional Photo Booth” mode from the “Select Mode” section on the main settings page.

Select the mode you want to use from the “Select AI Mode” section.

Note: This feature is only used in AI Modes.

Scroll down the page and scroll down to the Self Service Mode Settings section.

Select the “Payment Active” box.

Select the option you want to receive payment from the “Choose Payment Option” section.

Select at which stage you would like to receive payment from the “When To Request Payment” section.

To receive payments online, go to Stripe.com and create an account.

Log in to your account.

After completing the account process, type account in the search field and enter the page marked in the image.

Copy the line in the Account ID section.

Paste it into the “Stripe Account ID” section in the software.

Return to the site. Type API in the search field and open the displayed page.

Copy the line in the “Secret Key” section on this page.

Note: If you've accessed Stripe test mode from your dashboard, your account will allow you to try out basic functionality like creating cards, testing transactions, and testing sending physical cards.

This is temporary, and once you go live, you'll lose access to all cardholders and cards you created in this test mode. You can use this for testing purposes, but if you want to go live, contact Stripe support and paste the secret key they provide into the software.

For more information, see stripe support page.

Paste it into the “Stripe Secret Key” section within the software.

Enter your desired download and print prices in the boxes below. Users who purchase a print also receive the download. You can price your items based on this information.

Go to the Print Settings section and adjust your printer settings. Set a print limit in the Photo Limit section on the right. You can limit this to one print.

( We do this because purchasing one print doesn't mean a participant can only print one. It means they've activated the print option for a photo they've taken. Unless you set a limit in this section, they can print as many as they want. For example, if a participant purchases two prints, they're actually activating the print button for two photos they'll take. The number of prints they can purchase is limited to the limit you set. )

Click the Start the App button.

You can customize this screen however you like.

Click the Photo button.

If you selected the payment option on the start screen, you'll be presented with a payment screen before taking a photo. In this section, select Print or Digital Download, then click the Let's Go Pay button.

Scan the QR code that appears on the screen.

Enter your email address and card information and make payment. You can use the test card to get a trial.

5555 5555 5555 4444 XX/XX XXX

This card number belongs to the test card. You can fill in the expiration date, CVV code, and Cardholder fields as you wish.

Once you have your Stripe account live, test cards will not work.

After payment, a button will appear based on the option you selected. Since I purchased both, I have the right to take two photos. One photo will be printed and I can download the digital version. The other photo will only be available in digital format.

First, click the desired button.

The photo shoot will begin.

After the photo is taken, the desired mode will be created. Since we've made the payment in advance, the printer and QR code will be activated.

If you choose to make the payment on the sharing screen, the QR code will be blurred and the print button will not be active. If you click the print button or the QR code, the payment page will open.

Make the payment via QR code.

After the payment is completed, the Print and QR code will be active.
