Configuring a AI Effect Event

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Event Management

After logging into the software, we first need to create an event. Enter the event name and then click the Create an Event button.

Event settings

First, we select the mode we will use and then navigate to the Capture Options page.

Capture Options

On this page, you can configure all your camera settings. If you select Desktop Editing from the Select Camera section, you can work with existing photos on your device without connecting a camera. You can also select a camera connected to your device from the same section. Once a camera is selected, your live image will appear in the Live Preview section. You can take test photos to check the lighting conditions and your current camera settings.

When you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can adjust the camera angle. You can also configure the camera mirror settings and set the countdown time before the photo is taken.

Output Templates

When the page opens, you will see the default templates. You can use these templates if you wish, or, like I do, you can delete all of them and create a new template only for the mode you need.

Having multiple templates in this section requires selecting a template before taking a photo. If you are not using multiple AI modes or multiple frames/templates, this is not necessary. You can delete all templates and restore them quickly at any time.

Now, to create a template for AI Effect, I click the +Add & Create button.

Even if you delete the templates, you can quickly add them again from this section. However, for now, we click the Create New button.

On the page that opens, you can name your templates if you plan to use more than one. If you will only use a single template, this is not necessary. I adjust the template size from the top-left section.

When I click the button next to it, multiple mode options will appear. I select AI Effect and then click the Add Layer button.

I click the Add Layer button. Once the layer appears on the screen, I adjust its size and dimensions.

The template dimensions are shown at the bottom of the template. Therefore, I enter the dimensions as 1200 × 1800 from the left panel.

To add a frame on top of the image, we select Image from the top menu and then click the Add Layer button.

After the Image layer is added on top of the template, I click the Upload Image button on the left side. From here, you can upload either a frame or a logo.

After adding the logo or frame, I adjust its position and scale, then click the Save button.

After completing our template, we open the AI Assets page.

AI Assets

On this page, you can use the default effects or remove them and create your own custom effects. Now, I click the Browse Library button.

On the page that opens, you can re-add the default effects later from the Editor Effects tab. In the Public Effects tab, you can browse effects created by other users and use the ones you like. To create your own effect, click the Create Your Own button.

On the page that opens, enter the name of your effect. By making it public, you allow other users to see and use the effect you created. After completing these settings, click the Next button.

On the page that opens, you can select which AI model you want to use. Enter your prompt in the Prompt field. You can get help from ChatGPT when creating your prompt.

After writing your prompt, if you are using Desktop Editing, you can upload your photo in this section. If a camera is connected to your device, you can take a live photo to test your prompt.

During the test, you can view the result and continue testing by adding or removing elements from your prompt on the same page. Test prompts consume 3 credits, unlike the standard AI effect credit usage. This allows you to run tests using fewer credits.

After finishing, click the Save and Close button, then click the Start the Event button located in the bottom-left corner.

Start the Event

You can customize this screen in the software as you wish. Then, I click the Photo button.

Before taking the photo, the system will ask which prompt you want to use. Since I have added only one prompt, it proceeds directly to the photo capture. After the photo is taken, if the person does not like the result or an unwanted photo is captured, you can retake the photo by clicking the Shoot Again button. Once the photo capture is complete, click the Continue button.

Since there is only one prompt, the system automatically selects it and starts processing. Your photo will be generated shortly. You can track the progress using the bar located at the bottom left.

You can share this photo with your guests via Email, Print, or a QR code. If you want to apply additional effects using the same photo, click the Use Again button to reuse it. Click the Done button to return to the main screen and get ready for the next guest.

Common Errors That May Occur in AI Prompt Mode

1) Unclear or Insufficient Prompt Usage

Using prompts that are too short, vague, or generic can prevent the AI from clearly understanding what needs to be generated. This may result in unintended scenes, incorrect characters, or inconsistent outputs.

2) Overly Complex or Conflicting Prompts

Including conflicting instructions within the same prompt (such as requesting both “minimal” and “highly detailed”) can confuse the AI. Excessively long and complex prompts may also lead to unpredictable results.

3) Not Clearly Specifying the Number of People

When the number of people is not clearly stated in the prompt, the AI may generate extra individuals or omit expected characters. This issue occurs more frequently in group scenes.
